• وُلد الأستاذ "لاشين أبو شنب" في 25 يونيو 1927م في شبين الكوم- محافظة المنوفية.

 

• حصل على الثانوية الأزهرية ثم ليسانس دار العلوم جامعة القاهرة عام 1953م.

 

• حصل على دبلوم المعهد العالي للتربية سنة 1954م.

 

• التحق بـ(الإخوان المسلمون) عام 1941م.

 

• كان مسئولاً عن المعهد الأزهري بشبين الكوم، ثم مسئولاً عن (الإخوان المسلمون) بالزقازيق، كما شارك في الحركة العمالية.

 

• دخل السجن بعد حرب 1948م بين العرب والكيان الصهيوني.

 

• سافر إلى الكويت عام 1960م للعمل كمدرس لمادة اللغة العربية لمدة ثلاث سنوات، ثم إلى السعودية للعمل في جامعة (محمد بن سعود) لمدة أربع سنوات.

 

• قُبض عليه في سبتمبر 1981م متهمًا بالهروب من حكم غيابي بـ 15 سنة، وسُجِن ثم أُطلِق سراحه بعفوٍ عامٍ من الرئيس "مبارك" عن كل الشخصيات السياسية.

 

• تمَّ القبض عليه مرتين، حُوكم في أحدهما في المحكمة العسكرية التي حكمت ببراءته.

 

• اشترك في أنشطة الدعوة في دول كثيرة أهمها: أمريكا، كندا، فرنسا، النمسا، بريطانيا، ألبانيا، تركيا، اليونان، بالإضافة إلى دول عربية عديدة.

 

• له سبعة أبناء، وأربعة وعشرون حفيدًا.

 

 

Ustaz Lasheen Abou Shanab

He was born on June 25th, 1927- in  Shebeen Alkom, Menoufeyya, Egypt
He obtained his Azhar Secondary Certificate of Education, then a BA from the Faculty of Dar Al Olouom, Cairo University in 1953. He obtained a diploma from the Higher Institute of Education in 1954


                             
Muslim Brotherhood in his life

 He joined Muslim Brotherhood in 1941. He was in charge of Muslim Brotherhood in Shebeen-based Azhar Institute, then he became in charge of Muslim Brotherhood in Zagazeeg. He was chosen member of Dar Al Oloum Student Union, then a spokesman of the students in Egypt. Then he became in charge of the Muslim Brotherhood Workers" Committee at the request of Martyr Kamal el Sananeery


He was imprisoned after the 1948 Arab- Israeli war. In September 1981, he was arrested and accused by the attorney general of escaping a court rule of a 15 -year sentence in absentia in 1954, then released on a general amnesty issued by President Mubarak to all detained  political figures. In 1995, he was detained twice, one of which he was court-martialed and then cleared and released

He took part in many Da"wa activities in several countries, mainly America, Canada, France, Austria, Britain, Albania, Turkey, Greece as well as several Arab countries

In 1960, he traveled to Kuwait to work as a teacher of Arabic for three years, then to Saudi Arabia where he worked at Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University for four years
He has got seven children and twenty four grandchildren so far
