• مواليد 1934م بمحافظة بني سويف، بصعيد مصر.
• بكالوريوس (الخدمة الاجتماعية) بتقدير جيد جدًا مع مرتبة الشرف عام 1961م.
• عمل باحثًا بمحافظة الإسكندرية، ثم رئيسًا لقسم البحوث، ثم مديرًا لمباني المحافظة، ثم رئيسًا لمجلس إدارة مدارس المدينة المنورة بالإسكندرية.
• اعتُقل عام 1965م حتى 1971م ثم قُبض عليه عام 1992م لعدة أشهر.
• عمل مديرًا للندوة العالمية للشباب الإسلامي بجدة في الفترة من 1981م حتى 1985م
• انضم للإخوان المسلمين عام 1951م، ثم عضوًا للمكتب الإدارى بالإسكندرية، ثم نائبًا لرئيسه في الثمانينيات، ثم عضوًا لمكتب الإرشاد منذ 1995م حتى الآن.
• متزوجٌ، وله ثلاثة أولاد و6 أحفاد.

Bachelor of Social Work , graded "very good" with honor , in 1961
Worked as a researcher in Alexandria , then Head of the Research Department
Director General of the Governorate administrative buildings, and board chairman of Al- Madina Al- Munawara Schools in Alexandria
He was detained in 1965 until 1971, then re-arrested in 1992 for sever months
He worked as a director general of the International Forum of the Muslim Youth in Jeddah between 1981 and 1985
He joined Ikhwan ( Muslim Brotherhood) in 1951 then selected a member of the Ikhwan Administrative Office in Alexandria, then a deputy chairman of the Office in the eighties
He has been a Guidance Bureau member since 1995
Married with three children and six grandchildren
